Process

The first step in the process is finding a suitable area for mining after that the first step in the quarrying is to gain access to the granite deposit or the marble deposit by clearing the upper land.

EXTRACTION AND BLOCK MAKING

This process involves removing a large piece of granite or marble in proper cuboidal shape by drilling holes and passing wiresaw through that holes. After that comes the art of block making I.E identifying the suitable amount of small cuboidal blocks that can we made from that big cuboidal block this process is done by passing the wiresaw around the block. Then these blocks get their final touch by dressing done by wiresaw.

STOCK IN-WARD

Then the selected blocks are transported to the manufacturing unit and are placed in the gantry of that unit. Gantry is basically a stockyard where no of marble or granite blocks are kept.

BLOCK CUTTING

The next step involves the selection of a block and cutting it. This process is done through a multi-blade cutter or a gang saw, we possess both of them. The blade of the cutters is adjustable according to the required thickness.

Grinding

Once the slabs are cut they are then sent for grinding. Grinding is the process to smoothen the surface of the granite slabs so that the granite starts loosing its roughness and achieve a smooth to touch finish.

EPOXY

Epoxy resin is applied to fill all of the pits and micro-fissures that are occurring naturally and also to ensure the slab is hardened further this method is done manually or automatically. We here possess a resin epoxy plant that automatically applies resin to the slabs for a better finish, smoothens surface, and shine.

POLISHING

The last step in the process is polishing this step is done to remove any excess resin on top of the granite slabs as well as smoothen the surface finish. This process is done by passing the slabs through the polishing machine. We here provide all types of polishing that includes simple polish, leather polish, flamed polish, lapatura polish.

NATURAL

In this type the stone is sold in its natural form i.e absence of the polish treatment, once cut into its required form. This finish is very usefull for cladding and cobblestones.

SIMPLE POLISH

In this type the slabs are polished by a polisher machine, this technique produces a shiny surface and make the surface smooth which highlights its colour and properties. It suits best as wall and floor dressing and as well as counter tops and bench tops. This polish looks more attractive when the slabs are book matched.

LEATHER FINISH

This type of finish is obtained by a process of brushing the slabs with a range of brushes which results in very soft, warm and smooth to touch surface. This finish is basically for granites.

FLAMED FINISH

This finish is obtained by exposing the surface of the stone directly to a high temperature flame which generates a thin roughness and protects the product for outdoor installation .

LAPPATURA POLISH

This process includes brushing and polishing of slabs again and again to achieve and combination of polished and honed finish. This type of finish are mainly meant for bathroom flooring as the finish is honed plus the water also dries up quickly due to its finish.
